Description: On 10.03.2021 after more than five years of restoration work and around 135 million euros in restoration costs, the German Navy's training ship GORCH FOCK was launched again at the LÜRSSEN shipyard in Berme Motzen (Germany). The GORCH FOCK was then towed to the Lemwerder location of the LÜRSSEN shipyard. There are still some remaining work to be carried out there, such as the installation of the rigging, before the GORCH FOCK will be handed over to the German Federal Navy in a few weeks. Originally the Elsflether shipyard had received the order for the basic overhaul of the GORCH FOCK.
